Reno Beg Quilt class inquirers-Sierra Sewing has the "Piece of Cake" Pattern back in stock-there are still some Sat session spots open--the quilt is very nice done in fall or Chistmas colors--and yes it is already time to start thinking about those projects--especially if you are wanting to hand quilt them.
The 26th is the first of 5 three hour classes....
Passion and inspiration are enhanced when shared. We can all learn something from one another. Hopefully this blog will allow some of that to happen.

I'd rather be quilting...
Some trouble with the website has been making me crazy. Work is progressing on the charity quilt, pattern testers are testing the new pattern. I hope to have it in the shop by the end of the month. I have the packaging, just need to make final edits to the pattern based on tester feedback and take it and the photos in for printing, bring home and assemble. They picked some intersting colorways that they may let me show...
I also have tomatoe and squash plants planted. My granddaughter Abi and I planted some pumpkin, watermelon and carrot seeds. The Iris's that did not bloom last year (and I forgot to split until too late) are blooming this year...so far mostly purple bearded, but a couple of smaller yellow ones. Some of the other bulbs I planted are starting to appear, so hopefully more color this year. I find gardening and flowers inspirational for quilting.
I started another block of the onth last month--2 blocks done. I get a block the first Sat of every month. I really like Bali fabrics...
Well off to get the cofee prepared so it will be ready when I get up at 5:30am....I do not like to wait for my coffee in the morning :-)
